- Bureau of Indian Affairs Fort Hall Agency, Flathead combined Synopsis/Solicitation, Commercial Services - Chemical Herbicide for Irrigation Canals. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation RMP00040008 is a request for quotes. The closing date for receiving quotes is 04/15/04 end of business day. This request for quote is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered. FAR 52.212.02 award will be made to the lowest responsive quote. This RFQ(request for quote) is for brand name or equal in accordance with (FAR 11.104). Substitute brands may be provided if they perform the same function. Product equal to Brand Name must be accompanied with verifiable references. All products considered shall be registered with the EPA and licensed to be used in Washington, Idaho and Montana. (A). Brand Name: Magnacide H, Salient Characteristics Rapidly degrades leaving no residue, does not bind or stay in soil as a result there is no build up, reacts through hydration which decreases toxicity, aquatic pond weeds & algae begins to break down within hours of application, application extends 8-10 miles (application not labor intensive). 6 skids, and 5 cylinders. Delivery Date 05/20/04, deliver 5 skids (1 skid 2450lbs) to: Fort Hall Agency, Bannock Ave Bld#2 , Fort Hall ID 83203-0220. Delivery Date 05/20/04, 5 cylinders (1 cylinder 370lbs) to: BIA-Flathead Agency-Irrigation, 220 Project Dr., St Ignatius, MT 59865. Deliver Date 09/15/04, deliver 1 skids (1 skid 2450lbs) to: BIA-Wapato Irrigation Project, 413 SW Camas Ave, Wapato, WA 98951. Each site will have an assigned COR(Contract Officers Representative), they shall be contacted before delivery(COR to be assigned). The following Far clauses are applicable and this synopsis/solicitation incorporates all provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC #2001-20). Far 52.102 incorporating provisions and clauses by reference applies to this contract. FAR 52.212.01, FAR 52.212.02, FAR 52.212.03, FAR 52.212.04, FAR 52.214.31 applies to this contract. FAR 52.212.05 applies to this contract with the following clauses marked, FAR 52. FAR 222.19, FAR 52.222.21, FAR 52.222.26, FAR 52.225.1, FAR 52.225.13, FAR 52.232.33, FAR 52.232.36, FAR 52.225.1, FAR 52.225.13, FAR 52.232.33, FAR 52.232.36.
