- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award the FY05 through FY07 STANDARD Missile (SM-2) U.S. and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements, on a sole source basis to Raytheon Company, 1151 East Hermans Road, Tucson, Arizona 85706. These requirements consist of procuring SM-2 BLOCK IIIB missiles, SM-2 BLOCK IIIB ORDALT kits, service life extension program (SLEP) for SM-2 BLOCK II/III hardware, SM-2 BLOCK IIIB spare sections, AN/DKT-71(V) telemetric data transmitting sets/installation kits, replenishment spares, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) options for SM-2 BLOCK IIIA/IIIB missiles, spare sections, and shipping containers. The FY05 through FY07 procurements will be met by procuring the missiles as All-Up-Rounds (AURs), which include the major components (safe and arming device, warhead, rocket motor, fuze booster, and target detecting device) required for the AUR missile configuration. Additionally, each fiscal year will include a level-of-effort for engineering and technical services in support of design agent and depot level efforts. Raytheon is the sole capable prime contractor for the STANDARD Missile program. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Raytheon Company directly. See Numbered Note 22.
