Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure twenty (20) each Electronic Engine Control Systems to support an Engine Throttle Replacement program being initiated for the 55? Aids to Navigation Boats (ANB). Vendor shall be required to supply all materials, equipment, parts, supplies, hardware, software, microprocessors, electronic actuators, engine control stations, cables, etc., for initial electronic engine control system installation on one 55? ANB boat. At a minimum the engine control package must meet the following requirements: (a) twin engine, dual lever, two electronic control stations, transfer control capability from one station to another, automatic engine synchronization of engines within 15% of engine speed, engine warming feature/lock out reduction gear to raise engine RPM, 24 volt system, electronic actuators with 150 degree actuator travel requirement. More specific details shall be included in the solicitation package. Vendor shall be required to provide and install a first article for approval prior to delivering the remaining quantities. The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center shall award a fixed-price contract as a result of this solicitation. Delivery of the first article shall be required 30 calendar days after the date of contract award. The location of the vessel for installation of the first article shall be determined at the time of award. The remaining quantities shall be required 30 calendar days after acceptance of the first article. All engine control systems shall be delivered F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the Agency. Request For Quotation (RFQ) Number HSCG40-04-Q-60007 shall be available for download from FedBizOpps (www.eps.gov) on or about 2 April 2004. The closing date for receipt of quotations shall be 20 April 2004 at 2:00 p.m. EST. For information regarding this acquisition, contact the Contracting officials listed herein.*****
