Description
THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE TO REVIEW AND PRINT ON THE FEDBIZOPPS WEB SITE IN APPROXIMATELY 15 DAYS. LESTER CREEK WATER SYSTEM RECONSTRUCTION. The project consists of the construction of various sizes of high density polyethylene waterline, a fiberglass underground storage tank, and a precast concrete utility building (pump house); plumbing appurtenances, valves and valve boxes, venting and drainage piping, thrust blocks, rodent proof drains, electrical and control systems, site work, aggregate surfacing, bedding, temporary water delivery system, removal and disposal of existing structures, and clean-up. The water distribution and supply system consists of approximately 820 lineal feet of 4-inch, 1,300 lineal feet of 2-inch, and 480 lineal feet of 1.5-inch high density polyethylene waterline; 20 lineal feet of 3-inch and 20 lineal feet of 1.5-inch galvanized steel pipe waterline. The fiberglass underground storage tank shall have a nominal capacity of 10,000 gallons. The pump house is a precast concrete building, 10 feet 6 inches wide by 12 feet long. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies and shall perform all work required to complete the project as shown on the drawings, shown in the manufacturer?s shop drawings, discussed in the drawing notes, and as described in the specifications. The work to be completed includes but is not limited to: mobilization; submittals, construction facilities and temporary controls; removal and disposal or salvage of existing structures; clearing and grubbing; site grading; all excavation and backfill; disposal of waste materials; all trenching, bedding, backfill, and connection of utilities, forms, reinforcing steel, and concrete aggregate surfacing; plumbing, electrical, and hearing systems; tunneling and jacking; clean-up and other incidental items as shown on the drawings and described in the specifications. The Lester Creek Guard Station is located in Section 2 of Township 1N., Range 9E of the Boise Meridian. The Lester Creek Guard Station can be accessed via Forest Development Road #128, approximately 5 miles southwest of Pine, Idaho, Elmore County. NAICS Code: 237110; size standard is $28.5 Million. Estimated start date is June 01, 2004 with a completion date of October 1, 2004. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. A pre-bid meeting will be scheduled for early May at the job site. The exact date will be stated in the solicitation. This proposed procurement is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set-aside.
