Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. A SOLICITATION IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The 99th Contracting Squadron/LGCB is conducting market research to seek qualified sources to provide hospital laundry services. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and parts (including pick-up and delivery) necessary to perform hospital laundry services on government owned property located at Mike OCallaghan Federal Hospital, 4700 Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV. Prospective offerors must be able to perform these services in accordance with the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO) Infection Control procedures; Guidelines for Health Care Linen Service (current edition) by Joint Committee on Health Care Laundry Guidelines, published by Textile Rental Service Association of America; Nevada Administrative Code 449.126, and any commercial laundry standards. Any information submitted is voluntary. Request interested firms submit a Statement of Capabilities (SOC) to this office to include, but not be limited to: (1) a summary of similar, recent (within the past three fiscal years) performance history (include points of contact and applicable telephone numbers, fax numbers, addresses and e-mail addresses, if available, as well as identification in what capacity that work was performed (e.g., prime contractor, consultant, subcontractor, etc.); and (2) business size status (e.g., large, small, hubzone, 8(a), disadvantaged, woman-owned, etc.). The applicable NAICS Code for this effort is 812331; a firm would be considered small if their average annual receipts for the preceding three fiscal years were equal to or less than $12M. Responses must be received no later than 4:30 PM Pacific Daylight Time, on 9 April 2004. Response to this notice will assist the Government in determining potential sources and is not a request to be considered for a contract award. If a solicitation is issued, it will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities web site, http://www.eps.gov. All interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the response to this SOURCES SOUGHT notice.
