- This is a sources sought synopsis seeking potential 8(a) certified firms in Alaska that have an interest in submitting as a prime contractor, an offer to construct an FTR160 Digital Multi-Purpose Training Range to support crew qualification tasks. Fa cilities include a large range control facility, a small After Action Review building, a general instruction building, an enclosed mess facility, an operations and storage building, an ammunition break down building, and ammunition loading dock, bleacher e nclosure, bivouac area, unit staging area, arctic latrine, classroom, primary power and on-site and targetry control. Supporting facilities include electric service, roads, drainage ditch, information systems, and site improvements. Demolish buildings (3, 000 SF). The 2002 NAICS Code for this effort is 236220 (size standard $28.5 million). The magnitude of the project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. We are requesting that all interested and qualified firms respond to this sources sought notice wi th a capability statement similar to marketing package used in the everyday course of doing business. The Government will utilize the following information in determining acquisition strategy: (1) summarize how your company is uniquely capable and qualifi ed to handle range construction; (2) provide information to demonstrate the company's dedication, and proactive approach to safety. Include current training levels for key individuals within the company; (3) provide the resumes of key individuals who coul d be assigned to the proposed project, such as the onsite Superintendent, Safety Representative, and Project Manager. The proposed key individuals shall have the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; and (4) bonding: provide your bondi ng capacity per contract. A capability statement must be submitted in written format.
