Description

The project consists of the construction of a one story building addition plus basement and various improvements to the existing Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Rand Visitor Center, located in Jackson County, Medford District BLM, Oregon. Building addition will be approximately 900 square feet total and work will include demolition, excavation, masonry, carpentry, casework, insulation, siding, sheet metal work and plumbing. Improvements to the existing building include a new septic system. Project price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Estimated start work is June 1, 2004 and performance time is 180 calendar days. Bonds are required - Bid Bond: 20%; Performance Bond: 100%; and Payment Bond: 100%. This solicitation will be posted electronically. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is April 16, 2004.
