Description

PORTER COUNTY, INDIANA This project consists primarily of reconstructing a portion of the basement brick wall including and installing a foundation drain at the Chellberg Farm House, and installing a foundation drain around the park's Building #106. All work is located within the boundaries of the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, Porter County, Indiana. Work shall include but is not limited to: replacing unsound bricks in a 6 foot by 14 foot wall area by approximately 12 1/2" +/- deep of the Chellberg basement, placement of a perimeter drain along a porter of the north wall of the Chellberg Farm House, and around Building 106, and extending both drains to daylight, pargeting the expowed exterior foundation walls and sealing with a waterproffing bituminous material at both buildings. Additional work may include sealing the interior block walls of Building 106 and the parks Historic Sears Catalog House. Magnitude of project: $25,000.00 to $100,000.00.
