Description
Research and Development in support of the Guidance Application Program to support the U.S. TRIDENT II (D-5) guidance system and test equipment. This program provides for development of alternate technologies for TRIDENT II (D-5) Guidance hardware, including the Accelerometer, Gyro, Stellar Sensor, and Radiation-Hardened Application Program with a potential application to the strategic environment. Procurement will be issued to Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Cambridge, MA, the only known source with the uniquely qualified personnel and facilities in the field of precision guidance design and testing to support the TRIDENT II missile program.
