- NAICS Code: 334516 In accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13, Commercial and Simplified Acquisition Procedures, the U.S. EPA ORD/WSWRD requires a commercially available "off-the-shelf" Potentiostat/Galvanostat to perform Electroanalytical Chemistry Experiments in Drinking Water that meets the following minimum specifications: (1) Low current amplifier with minimum current resolution below 1 fA; (2) Power module with the ability to increase the base maximum current up to 10A; (3) Base compliance voltage of at minimum ? 30 V; (4) Ability to control two working electrode leads independently and simultaneously (bipotentiostat control); (5) Interface for controlling an EG&G(PAR) Model 303A voltammetry stand; (6) Modular system with the ability to add capabilities (e.g. impedance spectroscopy measurement, multiplex capability, etc.) and increase maximum current delivery to 20A; (7) Computer interface and control via a USB port; (8) Electrochemical software for performing standard electroanalytical methods including normal and differential pulsed voltammetry and cyclic and linear sweep voltammetry. This procurement is being conducted with full and open competitive procedures under NAICS code 334516 with a size standard of 500 Employees. Award will be made using "Best Value" evaluation criteria. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Agency. Any firm believing itself capable of providing the required Potentiostat/Galvanostat must request a copy of the RFQ in writing within fifteen (15) days of electronic posting of this notice.
