Description

NUWC Division Newport intends to place a sole source contract with D.G. O Brien for the following items: Wide Aperture Array system connectors (P/N 1001071-102, Qty. 35; P/N 1381053-101, Qty. 140; P/N 1381053-102, Qty. 5); TR-281 aft connectors (P/N 1071003-119, Qty. 12 and P/N 1001058-102, Qty. 12); DT-633 connectors (P/N 1481163-111, Qty. 22); DT-633 test receptacles (P/N 1280243-101, Qty. 2). Required delivery will be specified in the solicitation, which will be released on or about 02/13/04. F.O.B Destination Naval Station Newport, Newport, RI. It is expected to place a Firm Fixed Price type contract. D.G. O Brien is the only known source for these items since they hold proprietary information, have been previously qualified by the Navy, and DGO connectors are specifically required per the source control drawings. All other sources must have demonstrated that their products meet the standards prescribed for qualification. Offerors should contact the agency activity designated below to obtain all requirements that they must satisfy to become qualified.
