Description

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Xerox Corporation for on-site full service maintenance and support services under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106. The proposed purchase order will be a commercial item award prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6. This notice of intent is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Maintenance shall include all software, hardware, and peripherals to include all parts, labor, travel, upgrades, new releases, corrections, enhancements and 24-hour technical support for the following NRC-owned equipment: (1) Xerox Douctech 135 NP1352 Copier and (2) FSMA XDOD/PERS4 Digipath 2 System. The contractor shall provide GENUINE XEROX PARTS. Interested firms must submit written capability statements demonstrating their ability to perform the required services to the above address not later than 10 calendar days from the date this announcement appears in the Federal Business Opportunities. Capability statements that do not fully demonstrate the respondent’s ability to satisfy the requirements above will not be considered. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (16-MAR-2004).
