- V ? Transportation, Travel, and Relocation Services ? Moving and Moving Related Services Solicitation No. DOC52PAPT0401012. NOTE: The response date shown above will be revised in accordance with the solicitation to be released at a later date. The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), an organization with an employee base of approximately 8,000, has a requirement for moving and moving related services. The moving and moving related services to be provided include, but are not limited to: padding and packing/crating of items, transporting material to be moved, disassembly of property when necessary, pickup and loading of property at its present location, transporting to destination, delivering property to the designated building/room, and positioning at the new location. These services are required at the current USPTO location in Crystal City and at the new USPTO Headquarters location in Alexandria, VA. The USPTO anticipates this requirement to be for a one-year base period and four, one-year option periods. This requirement is designated and set aside for 8(a) Business Concerns only. The NAICS code associated with this project is 484210, (size standard is $21.5M). The solicitation, DOC52PAPT0401012, is anticipated for release to the vendor community in late April, early May, 2004, and will only be available via the Internet at the USPTO procurement website at www.uspto.gov/web/offices/ac/comp/proc/currproj.htm. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. There is no written solicitation document available, telephone requests will not be honored, and no bidders list will be maintained.
