Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The 15th Contracting Squadron (15 CONS), Hickam AFB Hawaii, anticipates issuing a solicitation, on or about 19 Apr 04, to acquire Laundry Services for Hickam AFB Hawaii. This service will ask the contractor to provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to provide laundry services for Hickam Air Force Base. Service shall include pickup and delivery of Government linen, cleaning at the contractor?s plant, repairing tears and ripped seams, repairing holes, and protective wrapping. The Statement of Work (SOW) will be made available in the Government solicitation. This acquisition will be unrestricted as to business size. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 812320 ($4.0 million). Once available, this solicitation must be downloaded from www.eps.gov, as no paper copies will be issued. All information required for submission of an offer will be identified in the solicitation. A site visit will be conducted at a date and time to be determined in the solicitation. This site visit is highly encouraged but not mandatory. The government contemplates award on or about 28 May 04, with a performance start date of 1 Jun 04. The resultant award will be made on an all-or-none basis to include a basic period of 4 months and four annual option periods. This notice serves as preliminary information and does not obligate the government to award a contract, restrict the government in its ultimate acquisition approach, or obligate the government to pay for proposal costs.
