- SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE TO ALL INDUSTRY BRIEFING & SITE VISIT ATTENDEES - PROPELLANTS, PRESSURANTS AND CALIBRATION SERVICES FOR THE MARSHALL SPACE FLIGHT CENTER SCHEDULED FOR FEBRUARY 19, 2003 ADVANCE INFORMATION REGARDING ACCESS TO REDSTONE ARSENAL Due to security requirements at Redstone Arsenal and the Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), participants should allow ample time for processing through security (approximately 1-hour) at the Redstone Arsenal access gate. The following procedures shall be followed in order to gain access through the Arsenal gate and to MSFC for the Site Visit planned for February 19, 2003. 1. Interested companies must supply the information requested (see number 4 below) at least 3 calendar days prior to the visit in order to assure access to the site. Attendees shall meet at Morris Auditorium located in Building 4200. A NASA bus will be made available to transport attendees on the tour. The tour will begin at 8:00 AM. Failure to board the bus at the designated location will preclude participation in the on-site tour. The total duration of the Industry Site Visit is 8:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. A detailed schedule will be provided on the day of the tour. Building 4203 cafeteria will be the designated bus stop for attendees to purchase the lunch of their choice. 2. Foreign nationals or foreign-owned companies with either foreign national or U.S. citizen representatives shall submit information (see number 4 below. Foreign national visitors should be prepared to present passports upon arrival at MSFC. Foreign nationals or U.S. citizens representing foreign-owned companies will be assigned an escort. 3. Arrangements will be made to pick up visitor's badges in the lobby adjoining the Morris Auditorium in Building 4200. Access outside the Morris Auditorium vicinity and participation in the site visit requires either a valid badge or a visitor's badge. 4. Submissions shall be by e-mail to janice.stewart@msfc.nasa.gov. All responses should reference GATE ACCESS, PP&C SITE VISIT. Compliance with this special notice is the responsibility of attendees. Failure to meet the February 12, 2003 submittal date, and provide all required information, will result in inadequate time to process the appropriate paperwork and exclude participation in the Site Visit. 6. Attendance at the Site Visit is recommended; however, attendance is neither required nor a prerequisite for proposal submission and will not be considered a factor in the evaluation.
