- FIRE HOSE TESTING AND WASHING: Offers are being sought for the pickup of fire hose at Government facility; hose must be tested for defects, washed, dried, rolled, banded and packaged on pallets; treated hose is to be returned to the Government facility. Hose that is to be treated normally has been utilized on a wildfire incident and consists of both cotton and synthetic in 100 foot lengths of 1 inch and 1 ? inch diameter. This is a commercial item-indefinite quantity procurement for a base year with two option years. The base year is from June 15, 2004 through November 15, 2004; the two option years run from May 15th through November 15th. Estimated quantity of hose to be treated each year is 1,500 lengths; the maximum quantity to be treated each year is 15,000 lengths. Hose will be picked up and delivered, generally, to the Redmond Air Center located in Redmond Oregon, Deschutes County, Deschutes National Forest. Successful contactor must treat the hose in a non-government facility. Estimated price range for the base and two option years is $250,000 - $500,000 This procurement is a100 percent set-aside for small business.
