- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Requests For Quotation (RFQ) shall be issued and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. Quotations shall include unit price, proposed delivery in days (after receipt of order), company and Tax ID number and DUNS number. Each unit shall be individually packaged i.a.w. Paragraph 5.1.1.1 and i.a.w Paragraph 5.2.1 of MIL-F-2692H. Each unit shall be individually marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129. Bar Coding In accordance with ANSI/AIM BC1 is required. The Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is HSCG40-04-Q-20204. This RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 1-20. Applicable Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 5999, North American Industry Code is 314999, size 500 employees. The acquisition is: Item 001. 8345-01-041-4995, PENNANT, AWARD, COAST GUARD UNIT COMMENDATION PENNANT, SIZE 2; HEIGHT 22.625 INCHES, LENGTH 47.875 INCHES, HEADING: DUCK, TYPE I, CLASS 2 WITH GROMETS. DESIGN: 4 ALTERNATING COLOR STRIPES; ROYAL BLUE (80173), AIR FORCE YELLOW (80068), CARDINAL RED (80081), AND MYRTLE GREEN (80065) WITH WHITE CENTER STRIPE (80002) ON A SPLIT TAIL PENNANT. DESIGN TO BE SCREEN PRINTED WITH ACID DYE. MATERIAL: BASE PENNANT ? HEAVY WEIGHT NYLON. ALL TO BE MADE IAW MIL-F-2692H AND DRAWING 5-7-22. FIRST ARTICLE REQUIRED FOR EVALUATION. INSPECTION AT DESTINATION. Item 002. 8345-01-298-7403, FLAG, COAST GUARD ORGANIZATION,U.S. COAST GUARD COLOR (COAST GUARD STANDARD) FLAG, SIZE 5, WITH FRINGE, CORD AND TASSELS, AND A SUITABLE LEATHERETTE CASE. FLAG HEADING: COTTON SHEETING LINING AND LEATHER TAB I/A/W TYPE II OF MIL-F-2692H. FRINGE SHALL BE GOLD (70158) AND ORNAMENTAL RAYON I/A/W CLASS 2 OF MIL-2310D. EACH UNIT SHALL CONSIST OF FLAG WITH FRINGE, CORD AND TASSELS, AND LEATHERETTE CASE. ALL TO BE MADE I/AW DRAWINGS 5-7-2 AND 52100-1090-04. FIRST ARTICLE REQUIRED FOR EVALUATION. INSPECTION AT DESTINATION. Delivery of first article samples due within 60 days of award. Delivery of production is due within 90 days of approval of samples. Items to be delivered F.O.B. Destination to: Receiving Officer, USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room Bldg. #88, 2401 Hawkins Point Road Baltimore, Maryland 21216. Final acceptance shall be at destination.
