Description

The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, and incidental supplies necessary for the Hardin Ridge Recreation Area Road Shoulder Widening project on the Brownstown Ranger District of the Hoosier National Forest in Monroe County, Indiana. The project includes, but is not limited to constructing a 2-1/2-foot wide shoulder, culvert replacements, gabion wall construction and guardrail installation. Additional work may include placing aggregate along the edge of previously paved roads to protect pavement edge, asphalt paving, chip sealing, and crack sealing. This solicitation will be advertised using the sealed bidding format and a 20% bid bond is required for a firm fixed price, construction contract. One contract will be awarded for all items, including any additive items that can be awarded with available funding. This solicitation will be available ONLY electronically at the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website: http://www.eps.gov/, on approximately April 20, 2004.
