Description: Provide assistance to Bechtel Nevada/Los Alamos Operations (LAO) Electro Optical Division in the design, evaluation, characterization, modification, repair and checkout of ultra high speed imaging and electronic trigger systems. Examples of the kind of skills required are: (1) design image tube deflection circuits that linearly deflect 2 kV in 1 nS to 500 uS range, (2) design low current, 15 kV switching circuits for image tube gate control, and (3) design high current, high voltage UV initiated trigger circuits.
