Description

Provide Professional A/E Services for Project #692-330, entitled ?Replace Dom Buildings 215 & 216? at the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center & Clinics, White City, Oregon. Project involves architectural, structural, electrical and mechanical work involving the demolition of two (2) existing 18,000 sq. ft. buildings and replacing with the construction of a new domiciliary bed building of approximately 25,000 sq. ft. Services will include Phase I involving the preliminary investigative services, concept design and cost estimate; Phase II involving the preparation of contract drawings and specifications for construction bidding purposes, with electronic format submission after completion of Phase II; and Phase III will be for construction period services and site visits during actual construction. Evaluation factors to be considered will be (1) Specialized experience of the firm with similar contracts; (2) Past record of performance on similar contracts; (3) Geographical location and facilities of the working office; (4) Specific experience and qualifications of personnel proposed for assignment to this project. Estimated construction cost range is between $2,000,000 to $5,000,000. NAICS: 541310/Size Standard: $4.0 million. This is a small business set aside for small businesses located within the geographical area of the State of Oregon. Firms interested and desiring consideration shall submit Standard Forms 254 & 255 by close of business May 5, 2004 to the Contracting Officer shown above. Award is pending availability of funds. This is not an RFP.
