Description

The Air Force intends to award a sole source contract to Microwave Instrumentation Technologies, Inc. (MIT), 4500 River Green Parkway, Suite 200; Duluth, GA 30095, for NON-PERSONAL SERVICES to furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, services, transportation and incidentals necessary to provide Remedial Maintenance for the Far Field Range at Tinker AFB, OK. The period of performance will commence on 23 JUN 04 and complete on 22 JUN 05. A Time & Materials (T&M) type contract is contemplated. The estimated award date is no later than 21 JUN 04. Central Contractor Registration is required in order to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
