Description
The US Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments command, Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (TACOM-ARDEC), Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey is conducting a market survey to identify sources that are capable of supplying 60mm M775 fuzes for Mortar Training Rounds for Mortar Ammunition. The requirements will support FY04-FY08 production quantities of 60mm Training rounds. The contract will be firm-fixed price for the basic contract plus four priced evaluated options. The anticipated quantity for the base year is 35,000 each M775 Fuzes The maximum quantity for: Option One (1)- 120,000 each M775 fuzes; Option Two (2)- 120,000 each M775 fuzes; Option Three (3)- 120,000 each M775 fuzes; and Option Four (4)- 120,000 each M775 fuzes. This market survey is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government. The Government will utilize the information provided for planning purposes only. All information submitted will be provided at no cost to the Government and will be held in a confidential status. Contractors should have experience in efforts of similar complexity and magnitude. Interested firms with capability of providing 60mm M775 fuzes should provide, at no cost to the Government, a summary of their firm?s past experience, capabilities, size of business (small or large business), storage facilities, description of facilities and personnel to meet these requirements, equipment, tooling, processes, quality control of material and process, packaging ,palletization and any other areas of expertise that may enable them to undertake efforts of similar complexity and magnitude within fifteen days of this publication by electronic mail to rljohn@pica.army.mil.
