Reference Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) Market Survey 2004.214, due 30 days from the date of this ad. This is NOT an Invitation for Bid (IFB) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). The point of contact for Qualification Request Packages i s Thom Hartung, Source Development Officer for the Competition Management Office (AMSTA-AQ-C) at (586) 574-6596. Under PL 98-369 (CICA), this Sources Sought Market Survey is seeking to identify additional suppliers for: Noun: Steering Gear Assembly; NSN: 2530.01.284.4566; MP/N: 292SAF61; Vehicle Application: M939 5 Ton Truck Series, currently being procured noncompetitively. Please note that in some cases technical data may not be available. Be advised that, under the bailment program, contractors may b uy or borrow sample parts for the purpose of reverse design engineering.
