Description
The contractor shall provide all, labor, materials, transportation, equipment, tools, supervision, and management efforts necessary to perform indoor and outdoor pest control services at the Naval Weapons Station Earle, Colts Neck, New Jersey. This contract will be a Firm Fixed Price/Indefinite Quantity contract consisting of a base and four (4) option periods to be exercised by the Government if found to be in its best interest. The NAICS Code is 561710 and has a Small Business Size Standard of $6.0 million. The Invitation for Bid will be issued as 100% Small Business Set Aside. The contractor will be required to perform the following services in conjunction with each operation: perform a complete inspection of the site, identify pests, pest damage or any potential for pest damage, determine the extent of pest damage, render treatment if required to control, prevent, or otherwise mitigate the pest(s), and evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment. All requirements under applicable New Jersey Pest Control Codes shall be considered part of the specification and shall be completed by the contractor. The contractor shall be licensed by the applicable state agency to provide pest control in the categories of work specified in the contract. All work shall be performed by responsible state certified individual(s) in accordance with federal, state, local, and installation laws and requirements. All pesticides shall be procured, handled, and applied in strict accordance with the manufacturer?s label, which shall be registered with the Environmental Protection Agency. The contractor shall obtain all necessary state and federal permits to control protected species. Only Commercial Pesticide Applicators, certified by the State of New Jersey, shall perform selection, handling, mixing, and application of pesticides on station grounds. THIS SOLICITATION IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. The approximate solicitation release date is April 19, 2004. The solicitation will be available in electronic format only.
