Description
This Solicitation is to establish a BPA (Blanket Purchase Agreement) for a period of one year from the date of award. See attached Solicitation for more information. 1. NSN 7920-01-083-8992 TOWEL, MACHINERY WIPING: Shall be TexWipe Company, P/N TX318 or Linetech Twill Jean, P/N TJ1717 with the following characteristics: Cleaning cloths shall be 100% cotton, 2x1 twill weave, bias cut, bleached white, 140 +/- 5 g/m2 in weight, 17 inches by 17 inches (minimum) in size. The cloths shall be low lint and fuzz free. Unit of issue ? PG (package of seventy-five (75) cloths per package). PRODUCT CONFORMANCE. The products provided shall meet the salient characteristics of this description, conform to the producer's own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices, and be the same product offered for sale in the commercial market. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY. The item(s) shall be packaged and packed to afford adequate protection against physical damage during shipment from the supplier to the first physical damage during shipment from the supplier to the first receiving activity. The pack shall comply with the rules and regulations applicable to the mode of transportation. The package shall be the same as that normally provided by the supplier. In the event a pallet or skid is used for shipping, the following notice shall apply: NOTICE: Due to the spread of oak wilt disease, all lumber Used inside or outside a shipment must be BARK FREE. MARKING: Shipments to GSA and other civilian agencies shall be marked in accordance with FED-STD-123. Shipments to the Department of Defense (DoD) shall be marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129. NOTICE OF SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR SHIPMENT TO EUROPEAN UNION COUNTRIES: Per Clause D-FSS-468, non-manufactured wood pallets and other non-manufactured wood package material used in shipments destined for ultimate delivery to or through a European Union (EU) country shall comply with the Emergency Measures (2001/219/EC) adopted by the Commission of the European Communities (CEC). Additionally, shipments delivered to DoD distribution facilities or freight consolidation points for eventual delivery to or through EU countries shall comply with DLA PROCLTR 02-17.
