- REQUIREMENT: The United States Government is seeking to lease a minimum of 400,000 up to 403,734 BOMA Rentable Square Feet of office and related space to compete an existing lease for potential replacement. The Government will relocate from existing space under lease if economics involved and other factors prove to be favorable. The cost of moving, alterations, impact on agency mission and other variables to be determined by the Government, will be considered in the relocation decision LOCATION: All properties offered to the Government in conjunction with this requirement must be located in Northern Virginia, within the geographic boundaries of Arlington or Fairfax counties or the cities of Falls Church or Alexandria and must be within 2,500 walkable linear feet from an operational metrorail station entrance.. LEASE TERM: Up to ten (10) years. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST MUST BE IN WRITING NO LATER THAN AUGUST 4, 2003 AND SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: 1) Building name & address; 2) Contact information and E-mail address of Lessor’s Representative; 3) BOMA rentable & usable SF available; 4) Common area factor for available space by floor, if applicable; and 5) setbacks from the building. AUTHORIZED CONTACTS: In no event shall the Offeror enter into negotiations or discussions concerning the space to be leased with any Federal Agency other than the officers and employees of General Services Administration (GSA) or their authorized representative. OCCUPANCY: Space must be ready for occupancy no later than July, 2004.
