Description

CPIA: Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) plans to award a sole source contract modification to Johns Hopkins University (JHU) for a one-month extension, including a one-month option period, under Contract SP0700-97-D-4004. DISA believes that JHU is the only source with the required experience and capabilities to perform this effort within the period of time required. Performance will involve maintaining the Chemical Propulsion Information Agency (CPIA), the DoD?s center that serves as the U.S. national clearinghouse for worldwide information, data, and analyses on chemical, electrical, and nuclear propulsion for missile, space, and gun propulsion systems. The contract effort will include, but not be limited to collection, review, analysis, appraisal, and summary of the available scientific and technical information and data within the scope of the CPIA competence and concern. This synopsis is a notice of intent to issue award using other than full and open competition and should not be a request for competitive proposals. The determination of the Government not to open subject requirement to full and open competition was made IAW FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).
