Description
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for a Contractor to research and develop a fundamental theoretical model for prediction of the compressive strength of cement-based materials, such as cement paste, mortar and concrete, from the multi-phase, multi-scale microstructure.*****A detailed Performance Work Statement, along with terms and conditions and full instructions, will be included in the solicitation document, which can be accessed in accordance with instructions provided below.***** The period of performance will be twelve (12) months.*****All interested, responsible Contractors may submit a quotation package, which will be considered by the Government. The solicitation, any subsequent amendments thereto, and all questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available for Contractor access, via the Internet, at http://www.fedbizopps.gov . The solicitation number is: SB1341-04-Q-0367. The Government anticipates releasing the solicitation for vendor access on or about April 13, 2004. Potential Contractors are responsible for accessing the web site and must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant order/contract.*****There is no written (hard copy) solicitation document available, telephone requests will not be honored, and no bidders list will be maintained.*****Potential Contractors are requested to direct all questions, via email, to Tamara Grinspon, the Contract Specialist, at tamara.grinspon@nist.gov .
