- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement to provide standardized CAD training using the Bentley MicroStation Suite of Software and is conducting a Market Survey to identify companies other than Bentley that can provide services as listed herein. Companies must have the capability of providing on-site, resident and CBT. Resident training must be provided on-site at the vendor's faciltiy located within ten (10) miles of the following FAA Regional Offices: Anchorage, AK, Kansas City, MO, Jamaica, NY, Des Plaines, IL, Burlington, MA, renton, WA, College Park, GA, Fort Worth, TX, Lawndale, CA, Arlington, VA, Washington, DC, Oklahoma City, OKC and Atlantic City, NJ. The Government anticipates awarding an IDIQ contract with an estimated start date of June 1, 2004 with four (4) one-year options based upon availability of funding. Contractors must be capable of providing course registration, course syllabus, course prerequisites, learning objectives, training manuals and course evaluation(s). Companies must be capable of providing training by a certified professional for all the following courses: 2D Architectural Drafting and Building Information Modeling, An Introduction to Building Information Modeling, Architecture for MicroStation TriForma and Structural for MicroStation TriForma V8, HVAC for Microstation TriForma, Introduction to 3D Building Design, Rendering for Bldg. Design, Structural for MicroStation TriForma, InRoads Basics, InRoads Bridge Basics, InRoads Reporting with XML, InRoads Storm & Sanitary Basics, InRoads Survey Basics, InRoads Survey: Location and Topographic Surveying Basics, InRoads V8.2 to V8.4 Update, MicroStation for Civil Engineering, Administering Bentley ProjectWise, Administering Digital InterPlot, Using Bentley ProjectWise, Using Digital InterPlot, Applying MicroStation GeoGraphics, Imaging with MicroStation Descartes, MicroStation Basics for Geoengineering, Using I/RAS B, DWG for MicroStation Users, Essential MicroStation, Introduction to MicroStation 2D, Introduction to MicroStation 3D, Managing MicroStation, MicroStation Basics, MicroStation V8 Administator Update - Second Edition, MicroStation V8 User Update, MicroStation V8.0 to V8.1 Administrator Update, Moving to Microtation, Optimizing CAD Translations, Productive MicroStation, Bentley ProjectWise SDK, Getting Started with MicroStation VBA, Introduction to MDL, MicroStation VBA for VB Professionals. Interested vendors who can fulfill all the above-mentioned criteria should submit a letter of interest, company profile and verification that all courses can be provided as stated above. Information should be provided to Federal Aviation Administration, Eastern Region, One Aviation Plaza, Jamaica, NY 11434, Attn: Nadene Fontano, AEA55A by April 19, 2004. If no company other than Bentley expresses an interest, the FAA will award a single-source contract to Bentley in an amount not to exceed $182,000.
