THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS - AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation number is FA4890-04-T-0012 and this solicitation number is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2001-20). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 611420 however, this RFQ is unrestricted. ***ACC Contracting Squadron, LAFB, VA has a requirement to obtain training vouchers/Instructor led training from an Oracle Partner in the Hampton Roads area, to provide training for nine individuals in the Oracle Certified Master (OCM) path for Oracle 9i. *** This certification must meet the following requirements: The path must include four core courses, Introduction to Oracle 9i: SQL, Oracle 9i: Database Fundamentals, Oracle 9i: Database Fundamentals II and Oracle 9i: Database Performance Tuning and two Oracle9i DBA advanced courses which will be determined at a later date. It?s prefered that these vouchers have no expiration date, but as a minimum they should not expire sooner than 18mos from date of purchase. Class dates should be flexibile, as not all nine individuals will be able to attend classes at the same time. ***All interested offerors shall provide a quote for the following line item: Line Item 0001: Quantity 54 Classes, Please specify amount of Training Vouchers needed to complete OCM path for Oracle 9i. *** The contractor shall state the warranty coverage provided for all line items if applicable. ***Delivery shall be FOB Destination. ***Award shall be made to the offeror whose quote offers the best value to the Government with price and the aforementioned specifications stated above.
