Description

CLIN 0001: Furnish and install one (1) Precision Universal Cylindrical Grinder 12??????/24?????? by contractor in bldg.- 108 Heavy Machining Branch. The Precision Universal Cylindrical Grinder shall meet the following minimum requirements: Maximum swing over the bed shall not exceed 13.0 inches .Maximum grinding length shall not exceed 24.0 inches. Maximum grinding Outside Diameter shall not exceed 12.0 inches. Maximum work peice weight shall not exceed 350 pounds. Workhead shall have a minimum of 60Hz spindle range. Variable speed ranges 20-400 RPM. CLIN 0002: Furnish and install one (1) new Precision Automatic Surface Grinder by contractor in Bldg.- 108 Heavy Machining Branch. The Precision Surface Grinder shall meet these minimum requirements: Shall be a full axis automatic surface grinder with a plunge grinding system. Minimum table length shall be 24.0?????? in length and 12.0?????? in width. Grinder shall have a heavy duty spindle with a minimum of 2 pairs of class 7 angular contact bearings. Grinder shall have precision Tucite-B coating on both X&Y axis ways. Grinder shall have a continuos flood lubrication system. Maximum distance from table surface to spindle centerline 29.0??????. Grinding spindle drive speed shall not exceed 60HZ/ 1,750 rpm, 10 HP. Hydraulic motor power rating minimum 2 HP x 6P. Crossfeed motor power rating minimum 75 W. Elevating motor power rating minimum ???? HPx 6P. W heel size shall be 14?????? in diameter; 2?????? thick, with a 5?????? bore. CLIN 0003: Furnish and install one new Precision Automatic Surface Grinder by contractor in Bldg.- 129 Component/FCIM Machining Branch. The Precision Surface Grinder shall meet the minimum requirements below. Shall be a full axis automatic surface grinder with a plunge grinding system. Minimum table length shall be 24.0 inches in length and 12.0 inches in width. Grinder shall have a heavy duty spindle with a minimum of 2 pairs of class 7 angular contact bearings. Grinder shall have precision Tucite-B coating on both X&Y axis ways. Grinding spindle drive speed shall not exceed 60HZ/ 1,750 rpm, 10 HP. Hydraulic motor power rating minimum 2 HP x 6P. These grinders are to be delivered to Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, AL. Installation shall be completed 60 days after award of contract. FOB Destination will apply.
