****ATTENTION****FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO AMSAM-AC-LM-P, ATTN: JAMES C. ADAMS, CONTRACT SPECIALIST. 256-876-1606. YOU MAY FAX OR MAIL YOUR REQUEST TO (FAX NUMBER 256-955-9237). This announcement constitut es the only solicitation. RFP will be issued to Raytheon Systems Company, 200 East El Segundo Blvd., Bldg E01, El Segundo, CA 90245-0902. This contract is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Due to u rgency, we intend to release a letter contract immediately and do not intend to allow a 30 day period for receipt of proposals; therefore, companies are encouraged to express their interest immediately. Suggest that small business firms or others intereste d in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement contact the above listed firm. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and quality requirements, is not available.
