- Description
- Directed Energy Test and Evaluation Capability The Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI); Project Manager for Instrumentation. Targets and Threat Simulators (PM ITTS); Instrumentation Management Office (IMO) is seeking industry information regarding the availability of sources to manage, develop, and integrate over $75 million dollars worth of systems necessary to support the development and operational Test and Evaluation (T&E) of High Power Microwave (HPM) and High Energy Laser (HEL) systems. PM ITTS is the lead for the joint Directed Energy Test and Evaluation Capabilities (DETEC) project which is intended to field material solutions to selected test and evaluation capability shortfalls identified by the recently completed DTEC Tri-Service Study (T-SS). Information on solutions to test capability shortfalls were previously requested by the T-SS. The solicitation was advertised in the Federal Business Opportunities, Department of the Air Force Business Opportunities, Solicitation number FRI-03-2 Titled ?A Directed Energy Test and Evaluation Capabilities Tri-Service Study Request for Information-Solution Call" posted 3 Sept 2003 and modified 5 Sep 2003.
