Description

The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to negotiate a sole source, small business set-aside, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Radio Reconnaissance Technologies, Inc. of Fredericksburg, VA for the following items: Test Cable Assemblies. The announcement is prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The requirement is for a fixed price contract and a minimum of 20 sets. Anticipated period of performance is for 12 months, starting in 3QFY04, with annual options for four years, through 3QFY08. Each Test Cable Assembly consists of the following cables and fixtures: ITEM: (1) Breakout Box, RF Modulator, VHF Receiver and VHF Transmitter; (1) Connector, Auxiliary Port Loop Back; (1) Test Box, Ancillary Receptacle; (1) Test Box, Unattended Ground Sensor Set; (1) Test Fixture, ETU II MAGID/IRID Interface Cable; (1) Cable Assembly, Extender, Internal RF Set; (1) Cable Assembly, RF Unit Data Bus Cable (Internal); (1) Cable Assembly, RF Unit Data Bus Cable (External); (1) Cable Assembly, Test, ETU/SID; (1) Cable Assembly, RF Tuning Box Cable Assembly (VHF); (2) Cable Assembly, RF, N Male to SMC Male; (1) Cable Assembly, RR External Power/Serial Data Output; and (1) Programming/Power Cable. DESCRIPTION: Test Cable Assemblies are used to test various Tactical Remote Sensor Systems (TRSS). Items will be delivered within 5 months of contract award to both CONUS and OCONUS locations. No RFP is available for competitive bidding; however, interested parties may submit a statement of capability for satisfying this requirement, to include descriptive literature, within 15 days of this announcement to the contact person listed above.
