Description: Construction of a new Company Compound in an existing Infantry Training Base located in the Northern Negev, between Kiryat Gat and Beer-Sheva. The work includes the following: 1. Erection of one Company Compound building including a two-stories Staff Facility of 360 m2 , a two-stories Trainees facility of 1275 m2 , one-story Weapon Cleaning Shed of 18.50 m2 . 2. Installation of two Ammunition bunkers. 3. Earthwork, foundations, structure, waterproofing ,metal works, aluminum, plaster works, paint various finishes, prefabricated elements, furniture, water, sewage, electricity, communications., HVAC, roads, paving, fencing, drainage, landscaping, as spec ified in the package. 4. Buildings structures shall be made of cast in place concrete with CMU and Isolative blocks walls and CMU interior partitions. 5. Installation of Insect screens in windows of existing base buildings will be advertised as an optional item. Installation of two Ammunition bunkers. 3. Earthwork, foundations, structure, waterproofing ,metal works, aluminum, plaster works, paint various finishes, prefabricated elements, furniture, water, sewage, electricity, communications., HVAC, roads, paving, fencing, drainage, landscaping, as spec ified in the package. 4. Buildings structures shall be made of cast in place concrete with CMU and Isolative blocks walls and CMU interior partitions. 5. Installation of Insect screens in windows of existing base buildings will be advertised as an optional item. This work will be accomplished under the Foreign Military Sales program, using regular FMS contracting rules. This project falls under the Wye River Accords. Under the Wye River Accords, this procurement is restricted to United States firms, Israeli firm s or U.S./Israeli Joint Ventures. In addition, construction materials must be manufactured in Israel, to the extent such materials satisfy contract requirements. Payments will be made in U.S. Dollars. The estimated cost of this combined project is estim ated to be in the range of $5,000,000 - $10,000,000. The period of performance is 365 days. The estimated solicitation date of this contract is 3 May 2004. The solicitation, including concept project plans and specifications, will be issued free of charge in electronic bid set format (CD ROM) and limited to one (1) set per offeror. A pre-proposal site visit will be planned on a date to be determined but will be around the mid-May 2004 timeframe. Specific dates and other information regarding the site visit/pre-proposal conference will be contained in the solicitation documents.
