Description: This announcement constitutes a combined Synopsis Solicitation prepared in accordance with the format FAR 12.6 for Generator C02 System Upgrade for the Bureau of Reclamation Snake River Area at Anderson Ranch Dam. This RFQ No. 04SQ110050 incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2001-21. PROPOSALS SHALL INCLUDE THE COMPLETED FAR CLAUSE 52.212-03 OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS - COMMERCIAL ITEMS - WITH THEIR QUOTATTION. Vendors may access the referenced FAR clauses at the following website: WWW.ARNET.GOV/FAR. All responses are due by COB 4/23/04. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation on or about April 26, 2004 that is most advantageous to the Government. This is a total small business set aside, the NAICS code is 561621 (Security Systems Services) and the size standard is $10.5 million. SECTION A - DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATIONS SUBSECTION A.1 - GENERAL REQUIREMENTS A.1.1 Generator CO2 System Upgrade - Anderson Ranch Dam Replace existing CO2 cylinders, control panel, valves, and controls that are currently protecting two generators. Existing system has one set of 3 - 50lb. cylinders designed for initial automatic discharge and 2 -50 lb. cylinders designed for secondary manual discharge. Selector valve determines which generator requires CO2. Existing piping, detection and remote releases to stay. Available power for control panel is 125VDC. The following items will be required " Necessary CO2 Cylinders and 1 set of spare CO2 Cylinders. " Cylinder bracketing with weigh bar. " Discharge heads with discharge hoses, designed for single cylinder and multiple cylinder release. " DC control head, manual reset, no solenoid release valve. " Manual lever operated release heads. " Discharge indicator " Discharge nozzles " Check valves " Directional/stop valves " Lockout valves " DC input control panel. The control panel shall have 2 normally-open output contacts that will close with C02 discharge. The contacts shall be rated for 125 VDC. " Drawing/schematic showing set up design " Labor to commission system Note: All system components shall be from a single manufacturer. Available power for control panel is 125VDC only.
