- Description
- The work consists of providing all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment required to maintain the elevators at the Naval Postgraduate School in a safe and operable condition as required by existing codes and regulations applicable during the life of the contract. Contractor will maintain all elevators determine where all parts of the installation conform to the requirements of applicable codes and regulations and ensure all safety devices function as required, examine the equipment establish its present condition and make recommendations for repairs if necessary, contractor shall employ personnel that are certified by regulating authorities to work on elevators. The Procurement is set-aside for small business concerns. If insufficient interest is displayed by small business, the solicitation may be re-issued as unrestricted. This is a firm-fixed price contract. The contract is for a base year and three (1)-one year options. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 811310 (7699). The related small business size standard is $5.09 million. The entire solicitation will be released solely on the Internet by Electronic Solicitation at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil (No paper copies will be available). Request for Proposal will be available on or about 03 May 2004. Locate the solicitation number N62474-04-R-9314 and follow the instructions for downloading.
