- NAICS Code: 334516 THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number is RFQ-RT-04-00222 and the solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-18. The associated North Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334516 and the size business size standard is 500 employees. Full and open competition procedures will be utilized. A firm, fixed price purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures is anticipated to result from the award of this solicitation. This procurement is for : CLIN 1: PerkinElmer , P/N USED8967, Auto system XL Gas Chromatography with Programmable Pressure Control with Liquid Autosampler; Programmable Split/Split less Injector/Prevent accy; Liquid Nitrogen Cooling. CLIN 2: PerkinElmer, P/N USED01041, GC Mass Spectrometer; includes EI source only; included Vacuum Gauges; includes Premium Turbo Pump; Includes Premium Roughing Pump; Includes Dell PC: Includes Turbomass GCMS software: Both systems must be no older then 5 years; both systems must includes one year manufactures warranty; offer must provided with quote documentation that maintenance checks by the manufacturer have been performed recently an that the system is fully functional; delivery must take place within 45 days of award; delivered fob destination, RTP, NC. The Government intends to award a single purchase order to responsible offeror whose quote is the over all best value to the Government . The Government reserves the right to require additional pricing information if necessary to determine that the proposed price is reasonable.
