Description

OFFICE SPACE WANTED BY U.S. GOVERNMENT - BAKERSFIELD, CA. The General Services Administration (GSA) is interested in leasing approximately 30,000 rentable square feet of contiguous office space in Bakersfield, CA. The rentable space must yield a minimum of approximately 23,400 BOMA office area square feet. Occupancy is desired as soon as possible. This is a revision of an earlier advertisement, to increase the square footage requirement and revise the geographical area of consideration. Area of consideration is Bakersfield, CA within the following delineated area: North: Kern River. East: Highway 204. West: Allen Road. South: Ming Avenue in the West, to New Stine Road continued by California Avenue in the East. Location of space to be offered must be in a commercial office district with attractive surroundings and with a prevalence of modern design or tasteful rehabilitation in modern use, or equivalent. Well-maintained streets and public sidewalks are required. A 50-foot setback is required on all sides of the building. Buildings that contain asbestos or PCB materials will not be considered. A fully serviced and handicapped accessible building is required. The building must not be located in a flood plain.
