- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information attached to this notice. The Social Security Administration has a requirement to procure a contract from a qualified vendor to supply products and services which will enable calls dialed to the public Enhanced 911 network, from the Commissioner?s Office in Washington, D.C. PBX telephone systems to be processed properly. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested at this time. A written solicitation will not be issued. The requirements, applicable terms and conditions, and representations and certifications to be completed by the offeror are contained in the RFQ (SSA-RFQ-04-0277) which is being issued concurrently with this announcement (See the document that is attached to this notice). The small business size standard is 750 employees. The North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334220. The terms and conditions include the following FAR clauses and provisions, as well as any addenda to these clauses: 52.212-3; 52.212-4; and 52.212-5. All responses to this combined synopsis/solicitation are due no later than COB, Friday, April 16, 2004. Please indicate if you?re offering GSA Schedule pricing on your response.
