Description
Amendment is necessary to clarify previous requirement according to question and answers asked by contractors at site visit and via email. POC: K.C. Newton (302)677-5218 Ref #: F73LRS40620100 Date: 07 April 2004 Questions and answers from site visit and by email on 07 April 2004 Question 1: Are rapid dome gold PTZ an interior or exterior camera mounts. Answer 1: Camera and mounts are exterior Question 2: What is the saw cut drive conduit? Answer 2: The installation of one of the cameras requires trenching through asphalt to lay conduit from the camera to the monitoring station. Contractor is responsible for installing conduit under asphalt and returning asphalt to original condition. Question 3: Please elaborate on camera operation? Answer 3: The camera must be controllable from the monitoring station and each camera must have the capability to rotate 360 degrees. Question 4: Does all wiring have to be in conduit? Answer 4: Yes, all wiring mus be in conduit both inside and outside. Question 5: How much recording time does the government require from this system? Answer 5: The government requires 19 days of record time. Question 6: Will the contractor get any help from government employees? Answer 6: No labor or equipment will be provided for this project. Question 7: Can a contractor just bid on equipment and not on the installation? Answer 7: No, the contractor is expected to provide everything in the solicitation. Comment 1: Contractors must break down quote into line items. First line item should be for equipment; Second line item should be for installation of equipment. The third line item should be all the costs related to the trenching and replacement of blacktop.
