Description

Pinnacle Creek culvert replacement, Tiller Ranger District, Douglas County, Oregon. This project consists of the removal and replacement of an existing 1.8m X 30m culvert with a new 4.27m span, 2.95m rise structural plate pipe arch 31.7m in length. The new culvert is to be embedded and infilled about 1.0m below the creek bed to facilitate fish passage. A small rock weir is to be constructed about 8m downstream of the new culvert outlet. The site is located on a single lane gravel surfaced road. Work is to be completed by September 30, 2004. This is a Request for Quotations. In addition to price, offerors are required to complete a project specific questionnaire providing information regarding past performance history, technical approach, equipment capability, work sequencing, quality control, etc. Detailed technical proposals are not required. Award evaluation criteria includes technical approach and past performance history in addition to price. Award may be made without discussions. Price Range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps on or about April 26, 2004. A payment bond (100 percent) will be required after award. Note: prospective awardee shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base prior to award.
