- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 12. Solicitation number FA4600-04-B-0006 is issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The Repair HVAC Dorms project will replace existing boilers, demolish existing chillers, and replace (358) dorm room fan coil units in building 324 with Geo-Thermal heat pumps. In buildings 364 and 365 a total of (376) dorm room fan coil units will be replaced with Geo-Thermal heat pumps. A Hybrid geothermal well field (wells and cooling towers) will be installed under the parking lots of building 324. Electric devices to all three buildings located on Offutt AFB, Nebraska will be upgraded. The performance period is 540 calendar days. This Solicitation is issued as full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 with a size standard of $12.0 million dollars. The solicitation document, which will be available on this website O/A 13 Apr 04, will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001- 21. THE CONTRACTOR MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) AS PRESCIBED IN DFARS 252.204-7004 PRIOR TO AWARD. IF NOT ALREADY REGISTERED IN CCR, GO TO WWW.CCR.GOV TO REGISTER PRIOR TO SUBMITTING A BID. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ALSO ENSURE THEIR CCR REFLECTS THE NAICS CODE INDICATED FOR THIS SOLICITATION. NO PARTIAL BIDS WILL BE CONSIDERED. A MANDATORY site visit is scheduled for 14 Apr 04 at 0900 hours. A CD-ROM with the specifications and drawings will be passed out to each interested firm at this site visit. The bid opening date is scheduled for 26 Apr 04 at 1400 hours CST at the 55th Contracting Squadron, Room 256 (Small Conference Room), on Offutt AFB.
