- The 436th Contracting Squadron at Dover AFB Delaware request a contractor to furnish the materials and perform the labor necessary for the completion of a 24? x 48? x 10? pavilion style pole building over existing 20? x 40? concrete pad behind bldg 270. Specifications: (1) Posts-6 x 6 treated, spaced 8? on center. (2) Carriers-2? x 10 ? one on each side of post. (3) Skirtboard-2 x 8, pressure treated. (4) Purlins-2x4, spaced on 2? centers. (5) Side Girts- 2x4, spaced on 2?centers (6) Trusses-Engineered to be spaced on 4? centers, 4/12 pitch (7) Roof/Side Steel- 29 Ga., G100 painted steel, 30 Yr Limited Warranty. (8) Footers- 80lb Sakrete. (9) Overhang-12? overhang on eaves and gables. (10) Gutters-None per customer request. (11) Post Proctors ? Twenty-two post protectors. (12) Liner panel- Liner Panel on ceiling. (13) Debris Removal-Any left over debris/materials is the sole property of the corporation and will be disposed of by the company. The metal roof and side panels will conform with the DAFB color sheme. The scheme colors are as follows: Metal roof: Match centria #154 ?Dark Bronze?. The Siding panel: Match ICI devoe Formula #BLK 1P32 YOX 1P39 OXR 19 ?DAFB Eagle Feather Tan.? This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subparts 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-20 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. This solicitation is 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS in accordance with FAR Part 19. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 321992, size standard (not to exceed) 500 employees. Site visit is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED and will be conducted on Wednesday 14 April 2004 at 1000. Interested parties must call Brenda Lytle at 302-677-5033 with information by 16:30 on 13 April 2004. Parties will meet at the North Gate at Dover AFB where they will be escorted on base. Parties must bring valid drivers license, insurance and registration. Please acknowledge all requirements on quotations. Understanding and compliance with the minimum requirements as set forth in the specifications or any alternative proposal submitted in response to this RFQ. Discussions may or may not be held with offerors; therefore, each offerors initial proposal should be complete and accurate. FOB destination is required by the Government. FOB point is destination. The following provisions and clauses can be viewed through internet access at the Air Force FAR Site, http://farsite.hill.af.mil. Applicable FAR, DFARS clauses apply: 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.204-7, 52.212-5/52.219-6, 52.222-3, 52.232-33, 52.222-41, 52.222-42, 52.225-13 (DEV), 252.204-7004, 252.212-7001/252.225-7001. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: lowest price/technically acceptable.
