Description

USDA, AMS, COTTON PROGRAM, Contracting Office intends to issue a Request for Quote for janitorial services at our 3275 Appling Road, Memphis TN location. The contractor shall provide labor, transortation, etc. necessry to perform janitorial services. Services shall be performed Monday through Friday, except National Holidays and during peak office activity, which is normally from September through Mid-December. The contractor shall provide daily services for each shift in operation during period of peak office operations. Services to begin June 1, 2004, or date of award, whichever is later. It is the Governments intention to award a 1 (one) year contract. Payment will be made in arrears. NAICS code 561720. This is a firm fixed price contract. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial items regulations per FAR 12. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation document incorporated provisions and clauses which are in effect through FAC 01-08. Applicable FAR clauses are incorporated by reference.
