Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Alcon Laboratories Inc, 6201 South Freeway, Fort Worth TX 76134 for the Alcon Infiniti Vision System. This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12 and FAR 6.302, for Other Than Full & Open COmpetition. The authority cited and justification made is based on the determination that the Governments needs can best be satisfied by products available from one source for this equipment. This notice is not a request for bids. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
