Description
This is a request for information only. It is not a solicitation nor does it guarantee a solicitation will be issued. The 99th Contracting Squadron, Nellis AFB NV, intends to award a sole source contract to Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) for the continuation of system support for the Predator Operations Center (POC) at Nellis AFB, and future Operations Centers at Indian Springs Air Force Auxiliary Field (AFAF). This will encompass administering and sustaining the current end-to-end system architecture for the POC and evaluating available computer systems, system software, existing infrastructure, source inputs and providing preferred solution improvements. In addition, the contractor shall perform studies and analysis to investigate additional source inputs to include atmospheric and space sensors, chemical, biological and nuclear detection sensors, as well as Radio Frequency (RF), Electro Optical (EO), Infra Red (IR) and multi-spectral sensors. Also, due to the exposure of sensitive material, it will be required that all personnel have a Top Secret (TS) clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance. The anticipated contract start date is 31 January 2005, with a period of performance of a base year and four (4) options years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 541519. A sole source request for proposal (RFP) is expected to be released to SAIC on 15 June 2004. However, if you feel you can provide this service, please provide your qualifications and experience in this particular area, and identify whether you are a large or small business based on the above NAICS Code. Please send all information to 99 CONS/LGCC, Attn: Lt Anthony Mele, 5865 Swaab Blvd, Nellis AFB NV 89191, or by e-mail at anthony.mele@nellis.af.mil. This RFI will close on 09 May 2004.
