Description

Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the Northern Region Contracting Center at Fort Eustis, VA, intends to make award to the AAR Mobility Systems on a sole-source non-competitive basis for repair parts for the Expandable Light-Air-Mobile Shelter (ELAM S). This vendor has the specific parts necessary for this system. AAR Mobility Systems is the sole supplier of the ELAMS parts. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 5013, Small Business Size Standard $6.0 million. Due date for responses is 04/ 13/04 by 4:00 p.m. Therefore, in accordance with authority 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to make award to AAR Mobility Systems within 7 days after publication of this notice. A determination not to open the r equirement to competition based on responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the agency.
