Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This unit requires the contractor to provide all material, labor, equipment, and supervision to install approximately 2,500 (two thousand five hundred) linear feet of new apron security f ence at the Stratton Air National Guard Base in accordance with the project plans and the following specifications. The fence shall be kept 75 (seventy five) feet off the existing taxiways and 10 (ten) feet off the existing apron lights. Fence shall meet the following: Fence should be at least 6 (six) feet high and surmounted by 3 (three) strands of barbed wire, angled outward for a total of 7 (seven) feet. Fence must be chain link, 2 (two) inch square mesh and woven 9 (nine) gauge steel fabric. Fence b ottoms should not be higher than 6 (six) inches. Re-grade and seed areas that are disturbed by the fence installation when complete. The project will be completed within 60 (sixty) days after the notice to proceed is issued. Elevation details provided t o those interested parties. Site visit to be conducted 22 April 2004 at 2:30 P.M. E.S.T. Wage Determination NY030002, Modification 0 dated 13 June 2003 applies. EMAIL QUOTATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
