Description

It is the intent of the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, Huntsville, AL 35807, to negotiate on a sole source basis an add-on requirement to contract DASG60-01-C-0026, with CAS Inc., P. O. Box 11190, Huntsville, AL 35814. The proposed acq uisition is directed to CAS Inc. pursuant to the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The requirement is for a one-time extension to the contract for continued operations and maintenance of the Advanced Measurements Optical Range which have been provided under the current scope of work. The extension will allow time to complete an on-going competitive action scheduled to award a new contract in October 2004. Th is acquisition is not open to Allied participation.
